Josh first joined BMYP for their production of Rent in 2015 and fell in love with the group, resulting in him staying for 4 years, performing in various venues in and around Bristol. During his final year with the club, he completed a foundation course in Musical Theatre at Bristol Conservatoire of Theatre Arts, staring alongside West End star Kerry Ellis at the Bristol Hippodrome. Josh then moved to Greenwich in London to study a BA Hons in Musical Theatre at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, for which he was awarded a first in 2022.
After signing with Avenue Agents, Josh hit the ground running, performing in immersive experiences (such as the Polar Express Train Ride and LaplandUK) and various cruise contracts with Viking Cruises and P&O Cruises as a Principal Vocalist. He has recently returned to Bristol after a 9 month contract on P&O Aurora, on which he performed 8 production shows around the globe, visiting New York, Iceland, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean. In his (albeit short) spare time, Josh also is an avid playwright and director and hopes to explore these other aspects of the industry alongside performing.
He looks forward to performing in many, many more projects in the future of his career and very much finds BMYP responsible for many of the performance skills that have led to him being so successful creating a career from his passions.
