BMYP is delighted to announce that our next summer production will be THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES EDITION, an action-packed musical adventure that will take to the stage on 10 & 11 July 2027at the Hexagon Theatre, Kings Oak School.
Inspired by the bestselling novels that have captivated millions of readers worldwide, the popular Percy Jackson films, and the acclaimed Disney+ television series, this thrilling musical follows Percy Jackson as he discovers he’s the son of Poseidon and embarks on an unforgettable quest filled with Greek gods, mythical monsters and extraordinary adventures.
Packed with an electrifying rock score, laugh-out-loud comedy and heartwarming friendships, this production promises an exciting theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
Our talented cast of performers, will start rehearsals in January to bring the world of Camp Half-Blood to life through dynamic performances, spectacular music and exciting storytelling.

Alongside The Lightning Thief, BMYP will also present the 20-minute Disney performance that our cast will be taking to Disneyland® Paris.
This gives family and friends of BMYP the unique opportunity to experience the Disney performance here in the UK before our young performers represent BMYP on an international stage.
