BMYP is delighted to announce the final piece of our 2027 programme — Disney’s The Little Mermaid!

2027 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Bristol Musical Youth Productions, with not one, but two very different theatrical adventures — plus an extra-special Disney experience along the way.

July 2027
We’ll take audiences on a mythical adventure with The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical – Theatre for Young Audiences Edition, performed at the Hexagon Theatre, Kings Oak School.

🏛️ And that’s not all…

As part of our 2027 plans, BMYP will also be taking our young performers to Disneyland Paris, where they’ll have the opportunity to perform a special Disney production — combining the magic of performing with the excitement of the parks.

Then, in November…

We head UNDER THE SEA!

Disney’s The Little Mermaid

From 4–7 November 2027, BMYP will transform the Olympus Theatre, Filton, into an underwater world filled with music, adventure, friendship and magic.

Featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright, The Little Mermaid is a story about finding your voice, following your dreams and discovering just how far you’re prepared to go for the life you want.
