Starlight Express is a high-energy musical that brings a child’s toy trains to life in a dazzling roller-skating spectacle. Set in a dream world where trains compete to prove who is the fastest, the story follows Rusty, a humble steam engine who dreams of winning the great championship race. With encouragement from the legend of the Starlight Express, Rusty learns to believe in himself and challenge powerful rivals, including the sleek diesel and electric engines. Through racing, rivalry, and romance, the show celebrates perseverance, self-belief, and the power of hope, all set to an electrifying rock score by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
