I began my journey with BMYP at the age of 11 and participated in numerous productions during his time with the club. My first production was Starlight Express. At the start of rehearsals I could barely stand in roller boots. By the end of the show I was tap dancing in them. One of my favourite roles was as Squidward in SpongeBob the Musical.
I have learned many skills in my time at BMYP and not just singing and dancing but also skating, unicycling and plate spinning. Skills that I still enjoy impressing new friends with now.
From an early age, I aspired to perform at Disney. Getting the chance with BMYP was a dream come true. It was during one of these performances that I was approached by a senior Disney cast member who had been impressed by our performance.
The cast member suggested that I should audition for Disneyland Paris. (I can tell you this audition was less scary than any audition for Vicki Klein) I followed this advice and the rest is history.
It was a privilege to have BMYP watch me perform on their last trip to Disney. Look out for me next time you are in Disneyland Paris!
